On December 4, I’ll release Beacons in the Darkness, my next album of living-room recordings, on Bandcamp. Since it’s strictly a home production, payment is optional. If you want to give me money, Bandcamp Friday, December 6, is the best time to buy. Bandcamp forgoes its usual cut of the income on that day, and it will help pay for my new Zoom recorder. In the meantime, you can follow me on Bandcamp so you can see my other albums and find the new release easily later on.
The subject matter includes books, TV, cats, zombies, religion, the Internet, frustration, and hope.

In loosely related news, my FilkNews feed is now available on Bluesky as well as Mastodon. I’m doing the mirroring manually, and replies and boosts may be different. FilkNews has news about conventions with a filk presence, online and in-person singing events, and other significant information in the filk world.
Also, I’ve split my silent film playlist on YouTube. Silent Films now has just movies with my accompaniment. Silent Films (other) has ones accompanied by others or not at all.
Ooh, this looks delightful! I’m looking forward to it!
I just recorded “The Mad Scientist’s Love Song” with Virginia yesterday, so it’s definite now.
